Visa and Immigration English (UK Visas and Immigration / UKVI) using the European Framework of Reference for Languages (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages / CEFR) to measure the level of language skills visa applicants in the Points Based System (PBS). PBS allow migrants to apply for work or study in the UK through one of five levels (tier) are available. If applying through Tier 1 or 2, migrants are required to provide evidence of their ability to B1 english test. IELTS is the English test approved that can be given as evidence, such as

1. Tier 1 Visa entrepreneur to test the ability level B1 Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening, scores are required IELTS – 4.0 whole and for each of the four abilities.

2. Tier 1 Visa entrepreneur undergraduate level B1, testing the ability of Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening with an IELTS score – 4.0 as a whole and for each of the four abilities.

3. Tier 2 to the general level B1 Visa to test Reading, Writing, Speaking, and Listening with an IELTS score – 4.0 as a whole and for each of the four abilities.
